Maui and the Goddess of Fire: 2019 2 x 1 Ounce Silver Coin Set is a set that depicts two key figures from Hawaiian mythology, Maui and Mahuika. Maui possessed the qualities of a creator god, and Mahuika was the goddess of fire. The coins have a denomination of 1 Dollar. The set has a limited edition of only 500 pieces. These bouillon qualities were produced from pure Ag bullion.999 with a diameter of 40 mm. B is responsible for the production of the coins. H. Mayer's Kunstprägeanstalt GmbH, commissioned by the New Zealand Post. Coin set comes with original certified packaging.

Obverse shows the image of Queen Elizabeth II and information about the minting date, weight and purity of the bullion. The designer of the obverse was Ian Rank-Broadley.

On the reverse side one of the coins depicts the image of the Fire Goddess, Mahuika, and the other coin shows the image of Maui. The reverse side of the coins shows the face value. The designer of the reverse was Dave Hakaraia.
