The silver coin Malta: Knights of The Past 1 oz Silver 2021 is the first piece to follow the tradition of the Order of Malta.

The silver coin was struck from pure Ag bullion.9999, with a weight of one troy ounce and a diameter of 38.61mm. The mintage of the coin is 15,000 pieces. The currency was made by Germania Mint, commissioned by the Central Bank of Malta. Each piece comes with individual, original packaging with a certificate of authenticity.

Obverse depicts the coat of arms of the Central Bank of Malta on the shield of the knight. The obverse also features information about the issuing country and the minting date of the coin.

Reverse silver coin depicts the Knights of Malta, with Verdal Palace in the background. The reverse also bears the inscription "KNIGHTS OF THE PAST" and the face value of the coin.
