The limited Back from the Brink 1 oz Silver 2018 Proof coin is a piece that commemorates World War I. New Zealand entered the battle against Germany on August 5, 1914, as a British colony. The cylinder depicts the dangerous climb up the walls of Le Quesnoy on November 4, 1918.
The silver coin was struck from pure Ag bullion.999, with a weight of 1 troy ounce and a diameter of 40 mm, in standard proof. The Royal Australian Mint is responsible for its production, with the minting done on behalf of the New Zealand Post. The product is a full-fledged means of payment in New Zealand.
The mintage of the silver coin is only 2,500 pieces, where the whole coin comes in the original box with an accompanying certificate of authenticity.
