The Cayman Islands: Marlin 1/10 ounce Gold 2024 Prooflike coin is an interesting product from the 'Cayman Sea Life' series. Marlin, also known as blue marlin, is one of the most well-known marine fish species, found in tropical and subtropical ocean waters around the world. It is characterised by its long, slender body, with a prominent protruding snout and a long, dorsal fin that extends all the way to the tail. Marlins are known for their amazing blue colour, which attracts attention underwater.

The gold coin containing the image of the Koi fish has been made from pure Au.9999 gold, weighing 1/10th of a troy ounce, to a prooflike standard. The gold coin was produced by the Scottsdale Mint, in a low mintage of only 10,000 pieces.The product is guaranteed and is legal tender in the Cayman Islands.

The Averse shows the coat of arms of the Cayman Islands along with information on the year of mintage and face value.
