The coin has been minted in Ag.9999 sterling silver, weighs 1 troy ounce and measures 35.79 x 33.29. The renowned precious metals producer, The Perth Mint, is responsible for the limited issue of up to 2,500 pieces. The coin is guaranteed by the Government of Tuvalu as to the legality and origin of the metal, as well as being full legal tender in the issuing country.
The Averse side of the coin is decorated with the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II", "TUVALU". In addition, the obverse side features information on the face value, weight and minting sample of the coin.
