Obverse the coin shows the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain and information about the coin's face value. The designer of the obverse was Jody Clark.

Reverse depicts one of the beasts of the Tudor kingdom - Lion of England. The designer of the reverse was David Lawrence.
