Queen Elizabeth II has been in office since 1952. Platinum anniversary is being celebrated in 2022. The coin bears the handwritten signature of Queen Elizabeth II.

The minted coin is made of cupronickel, with a weight of 28.28 grams and a diameter of 38.61mm. In addition, this remarkable piece was produced by The Royal Mint. The copy comes with individual, certified packaging.

Obverse shows the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II and information about the coin's face value and year of minting. The designer of the obverse was Jody Clark.

Reverse the coin depicts the badges of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II", "THE BESTOWING OF HER HONOURS". The designer of the reverse was P. J. Lynch.
