Niue Silver Coin: Triton Gold Plated $5 Silver 2022 High Relief Antiqued Coin presents the image of Triton, a sea god who in Greek mythology was regarded as the son of the god Poseidon and the goddess Amphitrite.
The coin is minted from Ag silver.999, weighing 62.2 grams, 45 mm in diameter, in high relief and antiqued standard. In addition, the coin is gold plated with yellow gold. The excellent manufacturer "Mint of Poland" is responsible for the limited issue to 600 pieces. The product is delivered in individual original packaging. Coins are full-fledged means of payment in the country of the issuer.
Obverse the silver coin shows the image of Queen Elizabeth II, the inscription "ELIZABETH II", "NIUE" and the face value, purity of the bullion and the year the coin was struck. The designer of the obverse was Ian Rank-Broadley.
On the reverse side the coin features Triton depicted as half man, half fish with a gilded trident and crown, and the inscription "TRITON".
