The coin showcases Theseus, a well-known hero from Greek mythology. He was famous for defeating the Minotaur - a monster with the body of a man and the head of a bull - in a labyrinth in Crete, from which he escaped with the help of Ariadne and her thread.
The coin was struck in Ag.999 silver, weighing 1 troy ounce and measuring 39 mm in diameter, in antiqued standard. It is a coin with a mintage of 500 pieces. The product has been housed in its original packaging. Furthermore, each piece in the collection acts as a fully fledged legal tender and is guaranteed by the Niue Government as to the legality, purity of the bullion and origin of the metal.
The obverse of the product depicts the Niue coat of arms and information on the date of issue and face value of the coin.
