The Antigua & Barbuda: Coat of Arms colored 1 oz Silver 2022 Proof coin is a unique product that displays the coat of arms of Antigua & Barbuda. The attribute was designed in 1966 by Gordon Christopher. The product is from the Eastern Caribbean 8 series.
The currency was minted from pure Ag bullion.999, weighing one troy ounce, 39 mm in diameter, in standard proof. The silver coin was produced by the Scottsdale Mint, in an edition of 500 pieces. The product is legal tender in the territories of the eight members that make up the Central Bank of the Eastern Caribbean.
On the obverse the silver coin bears the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions "QUEEN ELIZABETH II" and "EASTERN CARIBBEAN CENTRAL PARK." The obverse also contains information about the weight, purity of the bullion and face value of the coin.
Reverse shows the colored coat of arms of Antigua and Barbuda, which depicts a pineapple, sugar cane, hibiscus and yucca. In the middle is located a stylized mill for processing reeds. The shield is supported by deer symbolizing the island of Barbuda. The reverse also bears the inscription "Antigua & Barbuda" and the year the coin was struck.
