Niue: The Milky Way - The First Czechoslovak in Space $1 Silver 2023 Proof is the fifth coin in the "The Milky Way" series. The coin is dedicated to the first Czechoslovak cosmonaut - Vladimír Remek.

The specimen was struck in pure Ag bullion.999, weighing 31.1 grams, with a diameter of 37 mm, in standard proof. The product has an edition of only 2,500 pieces.

This unique piece was designed by Asamat Baltaev, DiS. and produced by the Czech Mint, as well as being official legal tender in Niue. The coin comes with a guarantee as to the legality, purity of the bullion and the origin of the metal. The product comes in the original box with a certificate of authenticity.

Obverse of the coin is decorated with the Niue coat of arms and a flying saucer, the inscription "NIUE ISLAND" and the denomination and year of the coin.

Reverse introduces cosmonaut - Vladimir Remek. The reverse side bears the inscription "VLADIMIR REMEK".
