Kiwi coloured 1 oz Silver 2024 Proof Coin
The coin is minted in pure Ag.999 sterling silver, weighing 1 troy ounce and measuring 40 mm in diameter, to proof standard by BH Mayer's Kunstprägeanstalt GmbH, commissioned by the New Zealand Post.
Furthermore, the Kiwi 2024 has a limited edition of only 2 500 pieces. Importantly, each piece comes in an exclusive case.
The obverse of the coin is decorated with an effigy of King Charles III.The obverse shows the date of issue, country of issue, weight and purity of the bullion. The designer of the obverse was Stephen J. Fuller
Rewers depicts a coloured kiwi by the shore of Lake Rotoiti.The reverse also bears the inscription "ROROA GREAT SPOTTED KIWI APTERYX MAXIMA" and the face value of the coin. The designer of the reverse was Stevan Stojanovic.
