The Tuvalu: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 40th Anniversary 2 oz Silver 2024 High Relief Coin is a limited edition piece celebrating 40 years of Ninja Turtle adventures. This superhero group has appeared in comics, films, animated series, and video games. It includes four anthropomorphic turtles: Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo, who were mutated by exposure to a toxic substance and, trained in the art of ninjutsu by a rat named Splinter, became exceptionally skilled warriors.

This unique 2024 coin is struck from pure silver with a fineness of Ag.9999, weighing 2 troy ounces, in high relief standard, and is limited to a mintage of 2,000 pieces. The coin was produced by Australia’s oldest mint, The Perth Mint, commissioned by the nation of Tuvalu, making the Tuvalu government the guarantor of its value.

The obverse features the portrait of King Charles III of the United Kingdom, designed by Dan Thorne. It also includes information about the coin’s face value.

The reverse of the silver coin depicts the colored Ninja Turtles with the inscription "40 YEARS OF TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES". The reverse design was created by Lucas Bowers.
