The silver coin was struck from pure Ag bullion.999, weighing one troy ounce, and 38.61 mm in diameter. The mintage of the product is 250 pieces. The respected precious metals producer The East India Company is responsible for its issuance and is a full-fledged means of payment on the island of Saint Helena.
Obverse the silver coin is decorated with the image of King Charles III of Great Britain, the inscription "CHARLES III∙D∙G∙REX∙F∙D" and "ST. HELENA" The obverse also contains information about the coin's face value and minting year. The designer of the obverse was Glyn Davies.
