Set of 5 coins: Pidyon Haben Silver 2005 is a unique piece that contains specially selected numismatic coins. The product refers to the tradition of "Pidyon Haben",or "Redemption of the Firstborn" with silver coins, in remembrance of the fact that the sons escaped the fate of the firstborn in the Egyptian misery.

The currencies are minted from Ag silver.925, weighing 26 grams and 37 mm in diameter. Coins have individual packaging. In addition, these remarkable pieces were produced by The Holy Land Mint. Coins have a guarantee from the government of Israel as to its legality, purity of the bullion and the origin of the metal.

Obverse shows a child during the "Pidyon HaBen" ceremony, designed by Aharon Shevo and Gad Almaliah.

Reverse depicts manuscripts from the Bible in Hebrew and the inscription "ALEPPO CODEX". The designer of the reverse was Michal Hamawi.
