The Averses of the silver values depict images of Mieszko I, Bolesław I Chrobry, Kazimierz III the Great, Władysław II Jagiełło, Zygmunt I Stary and Jan III Sobieski, as well as the banknotes' denomination and the inscription "NARODOWY BANK POLSKI", which is the issuer of the values. The reverses in the central part of the banknotes depict - a denarius from the reign of Mieszko I, a denarius from the reign of Bolesław I the Brave, the royal seal of Casimir III the Great, an eagle on a shield from the tombstone of Władysław Jagiełło, an image of an eagle from the facade of the Sigismund Chapel, as well as an eagle in the crown and the Wilanów Palace. In addition, each reverse bears an image of the white eagle on the emblem of the Republic of Poland, the inscription "REPUBLIC OF POLAND", as well as information on the face value and year of issue.
