The obverse of the Year of the Snake coins is decorated with the likeness of King Charles III of Great Britain and the inscriptions "CHARLES III", "AUSTRALIA". In addition, on the obverse side there is information about the face value, weight and mintage of the coin.
The reverse depicts a Chinese snake. The reverse also features the Chinese 'snake' mark, the inscription 'SNAKE 2025' and the letter 'P' which is the mint mark of The Perth Mint.
