The Lunar III: Year of the Rabbit colored 1 oz Silver 2023 Proof coin is the fourth piece to add to the popular Australian Lunar III series. Unique coin shows two colored rabbits.
The product presents 4 animal of the 12 representatives of the Chinese lunar calendar. The year 2023 belongs to the rabbit, otherwise known as the cat. Chinese zodiac sign rabbit falls in 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, 2023. The coin is minted from pure Ag silver.9999, with a weight of 1 troy ounce and a diameter of 40.9 mm, in standard proof. The mintage of the cylinder is 7,500 pieces.
World-renowned precious metals producer The Perth Mint is responsible for issuing the coins. In addition, the Year of the Rabbit 2023 is guaranteed by the Australian government and is a full-fledged means of payment in the country of the issuer. Each coin is housed in an individual, original package.
Obverse the Year of the Rabbit silver coin is decorated with the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Jody Clark. The whole is surrounded by the inscription "ELIZABETH II", "AUSTRALIA" and information about the face value, weight and bullion sample.
Reverse depicts two colorful rabbits. On the reverse, there is also the inscription "RABBIT 2023". Designer Ing Ing Jong is responsible for this year's reverse image.
