Malta: Knights of the Past Gold-plated 2 oz Silver 2022 High Relief Antiqued Coin is the second piece to draw on the traditions of the Order of Malta and the Ottoman Empire's most famous siege of Malta in 1565. The event is considered a watershed moment in the history of the country and Europe.

The silver coin was struck from pure Ag bullion.9999, weighing 2 troy ounces and measuring 45 mm in diameter, in high relief and antiqued standard. The copy is additionally gilded with yellow gold. The mintage of the product is 999 pieces. The currency was made by Germania Mint, commissioned by the Central Bank of Malta. Each piece comes with individual, original packaging with a certificate of authenticity.

Obverse depicts the Knights of Malta and an Ottoman soldier, the inscription "KNIGHTS OF THE PAST" and the denomination of the currency.

Reverse silver coin shows the Coat of Arms of the Central Bank of Malta. The reverse also bears the inscription "MALTA" and information about the year of minting, the weight and purity of the bullion.
