Malta: Copernicus colored 1 oz Silver 2023 is a unique product commemorating the 550th anniversary of the birth of Nicolaus Copernicus, the eminent astronomer, creator of the heliocentric theory, physician, economist. He is the author of one version of the law governing the circulation of money - "Inferior money always drives out superior money."
The silver coin was struck from pure Ag bullion.9999, with a weight of one troy ounce and a diameter of 38.61 mm. The mintage of the coin is 15,000 pieces. The currency was made by Germania Mint, commissioned by the Central Bank of Malta.
Obverse features an image of Nicolaus Copernicus and a colored sun, designed by Natalia Danysz. The obverse bears the inscription "NICOLAUS COPERNICUS" and the face value.
Reverse the silver coin shows the solar system, the Coat of Arms of the Central Bank of Malta and information about the issuing country, weight, year of mintage and purity of the bullion.
