Lunar III: Year of the Tiger 5 oz Silver 2022

The Year of the Tiger bullion coin, inspired by the Chinese calendar, is the third installment of the Lunar III series. The coin is a continuation of the Lunar series from the renowned mint, The Perth Mint. The coin was minted from pure Ag silver.9999, weighing five troy ounces and with a diameter of 60.6 mm. Importantly, the Year of the Tiger 2022 coin is guaranteed by the Australian government and is a full-fledged legal tender in the country of the issuer.

Obverse the Year of the Tiger silver coin is decorated with the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Jody Clark. The whole is surrounded by the inscription "ELIZABETH II" , "AUSTRALIA" and information about the face value, weight and minting sample.

Reverse depicts a figure of an adult tiger along with a baby tiger. This year's reverse image is the responsibility of talented designer Jennifer McKenna.
