Kookaburra 1 oz Silver 2021
The 2021 silver Kookaburra coin is the thirty-first issue of one of the most popular bullion series, the Australian Kookaburra. The coin depicting the Australian kingfisher was struck in pure 9999 bullion, weighing one ounce and measuring 40.6 mm in diameter. Its issuer invariably remains Australia's oldest mint, the Perth Mint. Highlighting Kookaburra's unique design is its limited edition of 500,000 pieces.
Kookaburra is a series of silver coins produced since 1990. Initially ( not counting the first issue which was minted in only one weight - 1 ounce) the collection was minted in four different sizes: 1 kilogram, 10 ounces, 2 ounces, 1 ounce, while in 2010 the quantity was reduced to 3 sizes: 1 kilogram, 10 ounces and 1 ounce. It is also worth mentioning that the collection is distinguished by the fact that the design of the coins changes every year, which makes their value increase from year to year. In conclusion, the Kookaburra collection is ideal for anyone looking for new and interesting qualities for their portfolio.
The obverse of the coin depicts a prototype of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Jody Clark, and information about the face value of the coin.
