Ada Lovelace £2 Gold-plated Silver 2023 Proof Piedfort commemorates computer era visionary Ada Lovelace. She was an excellent mathematician and a great admirer of poetry. Lovelace is considered the first person to write a computer program.

The specimen is minted from Ag silver.925, weighing 24 grams, 28.40 mm in diameter, in proof and piedfort standard. The mintage of the cylinder is 750 pieces. In addition, the coin is gold plated with yellow gold. In addition, this remarkable piece was produced by The Royal Mint. The coin is guaranteed by the UK government as to its legality, purity of the bullion and origin of the metal, and is full legal tender in the issuer's country.

Obverse shows the likeness of King Charles III of Great Britain, the inscription "CHARLES III∙D∙G∙REX∙F∙D" and the denomination and year, designed by Martin Jennings.

Reverse the coin shows the cards used for Analytical Engine programming. On the reverse are the inscriptions "ADA LOVELACE", "COMPUTER VISIONARY", "1815-1852", "A DISCOVERER OF THE HIDDEN REALITIES OF NATURE". The reverse was designed by Osborne Ross.
