Australian Emu 1 oz Silver 2019 Error
Following the huge success of the first coin in the 2018 Australian Emu series, which took just 36h to sell, Perth Mint is pleased to introduce this year's edition of the fastest-selling silver bullion coin series. This particular product was made of silver with a weight of one ounce and a bullion purity of Ag.9999. The silver bullion coin was minted at the prestigious The Perth Mint. The Australian Emu 2019 has an apparent manufacturing error, in the form of an engraved tree trunk, giving the impression that the Emu has a third leg.
Obverse the silver coin depicts the image of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, and the coin is surrounded by the inscription "ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA." The obverse also features information on the face value of the coin. The designer of the obverse was Jody Clark.
On the reverse side placed an image of Australian Emu on the background of desert areas of central Australia. The whole is surrounded by the inscription "AUSTRALIAN EMU" and such information as the date of issue, the weight of the coin, the bullion proof and the mint mark of The Perth Mint - "P". The designer of the reverse was Natasha Muhl.
The coin is packaged in a plastic cap to protect it from damage.
