Born on August 25, 1930, in Edinburgh, Connery portrayed agent 007 in seven James Bond films: from "Dr. No" (1962) to "Diamonds Are Forever" (1971) and in the film "Never Say Never Again" (1983).
This unique 2024 edition coin is a one-ounce piece struck from pure Ag.9999 fine silver in proof standard and limited to a mintage of 5,000 pieces. Coins struck in proof standard feature a mirror finish on both the reverse and obverse sides.
The coin was produced by Australia's oldest mint, Perth Mint, commissioned by the state of Tuvalu, with the value guaranteed by the government of Tuvalu.
