Lunar III: Year of the Mouse 2 oz Silver 2020

The Year of the Mouse silver coin, inspired by the Chinese lunar calendar, is the starting product of the Lunar III series. The coin was minted from pure sterling silver, with a total weight of two troy ounces. The esteemed Perth Mint is responsible for the production of this interesting product. The coin, like the other currencies in the collection, is guaranteed by the Australian government and is full legal tender in the issuer's territory.

Obverse the Year of the Mouse silver coin is decorated with an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II designed by Jody Clark. The whole is surrounded by the inscription "ELIZABETH II" , "AUSTRALIA" and information about the face value, weight and minting sample.

Reverse includes an engraved portrait of two mice gushing in corn cobs. The talented designer Ing Ing Jong is responsible for the exquisite image of the reverse.
