Krugerrand 2 oz Silver 2022 Proof
The Collector's Krugerrand 2 oz Silver Proof was made of pure Ag silver.999, in a limited edition of 10,000 pieces. It is worth noting that this copy is minted in proof standard, that is, a stamp was used to give the coin a mirror image. The South African Mint, The South Africa Mint, is responsible for issuing Krugerrands.
What's more, each Krugerrand is a full-fledged means of payment that is guaranteed by the South African government as to the legality, purity of the bullion and the origin of the metal. In addition, it is worth knowing that although Krugerrands are full-fledged means of payment, they have no monetary value. This means that the South African Reserve Bank is obliged to repurchase the coins at the prevailing bullion price. Obverse is decorated with a portrait of Paul Kruger and the inscription "South Africa" in Afrikaans and English. The designer of the obverse was Otto Schultz. Reverse depicts the springbok antelope, which is the symbol of South Africa. On either side of it are numbers representing the year of minting; below it is the inscription "Fynsilwer 2oz fine silver r2", indicating the pure silver content. The designer of the reverse was Coert Steynberg.
