The Samoa Coin: Looney Tunes - Tweety 1 oz Silver 2023 Proof is a piece that features 'Tweety' from the Looney Tunes cartoons. There is probably not a person in the world who does not associate the yellow canary through his distinctive appearance, his sense of humour. The fictional character was invented by Bob Clampett.

The coin was struck from pure Ag.999 sterling silver, weighing one troy ounce and measuring 39mm in diameter, in proof standard. The issue of the product is limited to 250 pieces. Furthermore, the coin is guaranteed by the Government of Samoa as to the legality, purity of the sample and origin of the bullion, and is a fully fledged means of payment in the islands of Samoa. The product is housed in the original certified case.

The Overt of the coin depicts the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II, the coat of arms of the islands of Samoa along with information on the issuing country, weight, proof, year of mintage and face value. The obverse was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.

The reverse features an artistic image of Tweety. In addition, information on the weight and purity of the silver and the inscription 'TWEETY' was included on the reverse side.
