USA: Walking Liberty, Half Dollar Silver 1929-S PCGS MS63 is a coin struck from Ag.900 sterling silver designed by Adolph A. Weinman in 1929 at the San Francisco Mint. The coin bears the "S" designation indicating the place of manufacture. .
The obverse depicts a walking "Liberty" holding branches and the United States flag on her shoulder and the sun on the eastern horizon. The obverse bears the inscriptions "LIBERTY", "IN GOD WE TRUST", "1929".
On the reverse is an American bald eagle in the ready-to-fly position. Above the eagle is the inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM", which means "Out of many one" (the Latin motto of the USA). At the bottom of the reverse is an olive branch and the denomination "HALF DOLLAR".
