Niue Silver Coin: Hebrew Calendar Colored $2 Silver 2022 High Relief Antiqued Coin presents the Hebrew calendar based on the lunar and solar cycle. A year consists of 12 months, beginning with the new moon, each with 29 or 30 days, for a total of 354 days. These are the months nisan, iyar, sivan, tamuz, aw, elul, tishri , cheshvan, kislev, tevet, shvat, adar, respectively. The names of the months are derived from Babylonian tradition.
The coin is minted from Ag silver.999, weighing 62.2 grams, 50 mm in diameter, in high relief and antiqued standard. The excellent manufacturer "Mint of Poland" is responsible for the limited issue to 500 pieces. The product is delivered in individual original packaging. Coins are full-fledged means of payment in the country of the issuer.
Obverse the silver coin shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, "NIUE" and the face value, purity of the bullion and the year the coin was struck. The designer of the obverse was Ian Rank-Broadley.
On the reverse side the coin shows a colored Hebrew calendar.
