Georgia: 50th anniversary of Victory in WW, 500 lari Gold 1995

The 500 Lari (WWII) coin is a unique piece commemorating the 50th anniversary of victory in World War II (1945–1995), issued by Georgia. It is a collectible numismatic item that reflects the important historical figures involved in the end of the war and the signing of agreements that changed the course of history.

The coin is struck from high-quality Au.917 gold, with a weight of 17 g and a diameter of 31 mm.

Obverse features the symbol of Georgia – Borjghali, which divides the dates at the top of the coin. In the center, the coin’s denomination is displayed along with an inscription in both Georgian and English. Below, the name of the issuing country is inscribed in both languages: "საქართველოს რესპუბლიკა" (Republic of Georgia) and "REPUBLIC OF GEORGIA."
