The coin depicts the Utahraptor, a large dinosaur that lived around 125 million years ago during the Early Cretaceous period. It was one of the largest members of the dromaeosaur family, reaching lengths of up to 7 meters and weighing between 500 and 1,000 kilograms. The Utahraptor was distinguished by powerful limbs and large, curved claws on its hind toes, which could exceed 20 cm in length.
The gold coin featuring the Utahraptor image is crafted from pure Au.9999 gold, weighs 0.5 grams, has a diameter of 11 mm, and is made in proof quality. This small coin has a limited mintage.
