The coin depicts a theropod dinosaur that lived about 112 million years ago, during the Early Cretaceous period. It was a relatively large dinosaur, reaching up to 11 meters in length and weighing around 3-5 tons. Suchomimus was distinguished by its long, narrow snout resembling that of a crocodile, suggesting it may have been adapted for catching fish, similar to modern crocodiles.
The gold coin featuring the image of Suchomimus is made of pure gold with a fineness of Au.9999, weighing 0.5 grams, with a diameter of 11 mm, in proof standard.
