The Barbados Coin: Trident 1/10 ounce Gold 2024 is a unique coin that showcases the Trident. According to Greek mythology, the Trident was used by Poseidon, who was the ruler of the sea. The object was used to break up rocks in Greece to cause springs of water - the sea - to form.

The 2024 specimen was produced in pure Au.9999 bullion, weighing 1/10th of a troy ounce and measuring 17.34mm in diameter. The gold coin was produced by the Scottsdale Mint, in a low mintage of only 10,000 pieces. The product is guaranteed by the Government of Barbados and is full legal tender in the issuing country. Interestingly, the central part of the Barbados flag features the Trident.
