Commonly, this method is used for passports.The bar was minted in a weight of 250 grams and a bullion purity of Au.9999.In addition, a numbered certificate of authenticity was stamped on the bar. The LBMA sets and oversees compliance with the quality and safety requirements of the London Bullion Market. Mints that meet these are placed on the regularly updated Good Delivery List. Purchasing a bar produced by such a mint ensures that it can be resold anywhere in the world where investment bars are traded.
