What is the LBMA? The LBMA or London Bullion Market Association is an association that sets and supervises compliance with quality and safety requirements in the manufacture of minted products. This important body is made up of institutions that are directly involved in the precious metals market, including mints, international banks and others. Importantly, only a manufacturer that has been previously recommended by a minimum of three entities that are already members of the LBMA can be part of the LBMA. And, in addition, strict procedures are in place to ensure that only the most respected and trusted entities, which are also included in the regularly updated Good Delivery List, become members. The Good Delivery List is the LBMA's list of entities that is freely available to all. Consequently, the price received for an LBMA-accredited coin will be the highest possible, i.e. it will be higher than the price of coins produced by mints that have not been accredited by the LBMA.
