The Gold Sovereign is a popular bullion coin minted by the excellent British mint, The Royal Mint. Valor remembers and pays tribute to 70. anniversary of the service of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Queen Elizabeth II was born on April 21, 1926 and died on September 8, 2022. She has been on duty since 1952.
The 2022 Sovereign's half is minted from Au sample bullion. 916.7, in 22K gold, 19.30 mm in diameter, 3.99 grams in weight, standard proof. Each coin in the historic series has an admixture of copper, so it remains highly resistant to scratches and damage. In addition, all Sovereigns have a guarantee from the UK government. Product comes with individual, original packaging.
Obverse shows the likeness of Britain's King Charles III for the first time. The designer of the obverse was Martin Jennings.
Reverse depicts the coat of arms of Great Britain. At the bottom of the gold coin, the value's issue date is also listed. The designer of the reverse was Jody Clark.
