Centenary of Legacy $1 Aluminum Bronze 2023 is an interesting numismatic offering celebrating 100. anniversary of the founding of the Australian charity Legacy, which aims to support the families of veterans.
The specimen was made of aluminum bronze, weighing 9 grams, 25 mm in diameter. The mintage of the cylinder is 30,000 pieces. This unique product comes in the original card. The issuer of the copy is the world-renowned producer of investment products - Royal Australian Mint. Coins play the role of a full-fledged means of payment and are guaranteed by the Australian government as to the legality, purity of the bullion and the origin of the metal.
Obverse depicts the image of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain wearing a crown, the inscription "ELIZABETH II 1952-2022" along with information on the year of minting, the issuing country and the face value. The designer of the obverse was Jody Clark.
Reverse the coin shows open hands against a torch, which is the logo of the charity, and the inscription "CENTENARY OF LEGACY", "100 YEARS OF SERVICE". The coin was designed by Tony Dean.
