The reverse of the coin features a coloured space view of the Pingualuit crater lake on the Ungava peninsula in Nunavik, Quebec. In contrast, the second image, a meteorite on a collision course with prehistoric Canada and over the final impact site, reveals itself only under ultraviolet light.
The coin is minted from Ag silver.9999, weighing 157.6 grams and 65.25 mm in diameter, with standard proof. The copy comes with individual, certified packaging. The mintage of the product is 2,500 pieces. In addition, this remarkable piece was produced by The Royal Canadian Mint.
