On the obverse of the 100 złoty banknote is a portrait of King Władysław II Jagiełło, one of the most important Polish rulers. Advanced security features include: a watermark with the king's portrait and a digital denomination marking, a security thread (windowed) visible in the light, an angle effect: the coat of arms changes color depending on the viewing angle, optical variable ink (the coat of arms changes color from green to gold), and tactile elements, including the king's portrait, the Polish coat of arms, and markings for the visually impaired.
On the reverse, there is an illustration depicting the eagle from the tomb of Władysław II Jagiełło, symbolizing the dynasty's heritage.
