The "Łańcut Castle" 5 zł 2024 coin is part of the "Discover Poland" series, which showcases the most important monuments and sites of exceptional historical significance. Łańcut Castle is one of the most beautiful aristocratic residences in Poland, known for its splendid interiors and surrounding gardens. Located in Podkarpacie, the castle is an example of Baroque architecture with elements of Classicism, attracting tourists and art enthusiasts from all over the world.
The coin was minted in 2024: the ring is made of cupronickel, and the core is made of aluminum-bronze nickel with a total weight of 6.54 grams and a diameter of 24 mm. This collectible product has a limited mintage of up to 1,000,000 pieces.
On the obverse, in a semicircle, there is the inscription "RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA" and "5 ZŁ". At the bottom of the image of the eagle established for the coat of arms of the Republic of Poland, there is the issue date of the coin.
The reverse features Łańcut Castle. On the reverse, there is the inscription "ZAMEK W ŁAŃCUCIE", designed by Paweł Pietras.
The coins are sold in mint bags (without a capsule) in quantities of 100 pieces.
