Discover Poland - Żuraw Gate in Gdańsk 5 zloty 2021 is a coin that comes from the "Discover Poland" series and presents the Żuraw Gate in Gdańsk. The name of this gate derives from the crane-shaped tin weathervane placed on its top. The Crane Gate in Gdańsk measures 28 metres long and 10 metres wide. In the ground floor, the walls are about 4 metres thick. Between the towers, on the Motława side, rises a 30-metre-high wooden structure. Its crane mechanism at the top protrudes beyond the edge of the quay, which allowed goods to be lifted from ships and masts to be erected on them.

The coin was struck in 2021: a copper-nickel ring and core and aluminium-nickel bronze with a total weight of 6.54 grams and a diameter of 24 mm. This collector's item has a limited mintage of up to 1,000,000 pieces.

On the obverse there is the inscription "THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND" and 5 ZŁ" in a semicircle. At the bottom of the image of the eagle established as the emblem of the Republic of Poland, there is the date of issue of the coin.

Rewers depict an image of the Żuraw gate. The reverse bears the inscription "BRAMA ŻURAW W GDAŃSKU", designed by Paweł Pietras.
