The Royal Tudor Beasts: The Queen's Panther 1/4 ounce Gold 2025 is the sixth coin in The Royal Tudor Beasts series. The coin showcases the rich heraldry of the Tudor dynasty through its design. Inspired by the sculptures at Moat Bridge in Hampton Court Palace, the coin symbolizes the famous union of Henry VIII with his third wife, Jane Seymour. The panther at Moat Bridge is the last royal beast that visitors encounter before entering the palace.
The entire series will consist of 10 coins depicting the likeness of animals - The Lion of England, The Bull of Clarence, The Tudor Dragon, The Greyhound of Richmond, The Royal Dragon, The Yale of Beaufort, The Seymour Unicorn, The Queen’s Panther, The Queen’s Lion, and the Seymour Panther.
The coin is struck from pure Au.9999 gold, weighs 1/4 troy ounce, and has a diameter of 22 mm. The mintage of the coin is unlimited. Furthermore, this exceptional piece was produced by The Royal Mint.
Obverse features the likeness of King Charles III of Great Britain and the denomination, designed by Martin Jennings.
Reverse displays one of the beasts of the Tudor Kingdom - The Queen’s Panther along with the inscription "QUEEN'S PANTHER" "2025." The reverse was designed by David Lawrence.
