Tokelau silver bullion coin: Lionfish 1 oz Silver 2022 is 9. coin from the Tokelau Fish series. The fish in Polish is called fiery horsetail or foxtail. It belongs to the predatory fish. Winged refers to the distinctive appearance of the fins, and fiery is identified with venom, when in contact with humans.
The coin was minted from Ag silver.999, weighing 1 troy ounce and measuring 38.6mm in diameter. The coin issue is limited to 10,000 pieces and comes with a guarantee from the Tokelau government as to the purity of the bullion, legality and origin of the metal. The currency is also a full-fledged means of payment within the country of the issuer.
Obverse the silver coin shows the image of Queen Elizabeth II, the inscription "ELIZABETH II", "TOKELAU 2022" and information about the weight, purity of the bullion and the face value of the coin. In addition, the obverse features the likeness of a box used by Tokelau fishermen and the inscription "TOKELAU MOT E ATUA". The designer of the obverse was Ian Rank-Broadley.
On the reverse side the coin features a fire-wing and the inscription "LIONFISH" and "HAKUHAKULELE".
