The Tuvalu Collector's Coin: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 40th Anniversary 1 oz Silver 2024 Proof is a limited edition piece that celebrates 40 years of the adventures of the Ninja Turtles. They are a group of superheroes appearing in comic books, films, animated series and video games. They are four anthropomorphic turtles, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo, who were mutated by exposure to a toxic substance and, under the influence of the art of ninjutsu taught to them by a rat named Splinter, became extremely skilled warriors. The unique 2024 piece is a coin minted in pure Ag.9999 silver, weighing 1 troy ounce, as standard and in a limited edition of 25,000 pieces. The product has been produced by Australia's oldest mint, Perth Mint, on behalf of the State of Tuvalu, and therefore the Government of Tuvalu is the guarantor of the value. The Averse depicts King Charles III of Great Britain, based on a design by Dan Thorne. It also shows the face value of the coin. The Rewers of the silver coin shows the Ninja Turtles, inscribed ''40 YEARS OF TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES''. The reverse was designed by Lucas Bowers.Projektant
