The Loggerhead Turtle is a species of sea turtle found in warm ocean waters around the world. It is characterised by its large, heavily shielded head and broad, heart-shaped, reddish-brown carapace. Unfortunately, loggerhead turtles are threatened by habitat loss, fishing, plastic pollution and other human activities. They are therefore subject to legal protection in many countries."
