The coin "Polish Circulating Banknotes – 50 zł Banknote Gold 2025 Proof" is a collector’s item offered by the National Bank of Poland. This unique product is the result of successful cooperation between the National Bank of Poland and the Polish Security Printing Works, showcasing a stylized image of a contemporary circulating 50 zł banknote.
The coin measures 50 mm x 25 mm, has a nominal value of 50 PLN, and a limited mintage of up to 1,500 pieces.
Obverse of the coin features the majestic seal of Casimir III the Great with a central image of an eagle, along with a scepter and orb below. In the background, there is a panorama of Kraków and Kazimierz based on a woodcut by Hartmann Schedel. The obverse includes inscriptions: "RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA," "PIĘĆDZIESIĄT ZŁOTYCH," "NBP," as well as information about the metal purity and the year of issue.
Reverse of the coin is adorned with a portrait of King Casimir III the Great placed in a decorative medallion. The reverse also features inscriptions: "50," "PIĘĆDZIESIĄT ZŁOTYCH," "NARODOWY BANK POLSKI."
