The silver bullion coin depicting the English pirate Mary Read is a product made of pure Ag.999 silver, weighing one troy ounce and measuring 40mm in diameter. Mary Read lived between 1685 and 1721, and this coin is guaranteed by the Solomon Islands Government and is full legal tender in this country. Importantly, this silver piece has a strictly limited mintage of 10 000 pieces. It is therefore worth taking an interest in this coin, as well as the entire series to be released in the future.
The obverse of the silver coin shows the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II and information about the date of issue and the face value of the coin.
Rewers shows the pirate ship Mary Read with her flag raised. In the background is another ship at which cannonballs are aimed. In addition, the reverse contains information about the weight and purity of the bullion and the inscription "MARY READ".
