Polish Circulating Coins "European Wildcat"- set of coins 1 gr - 5 zlotys 2023 contains values of denominations from 1 penny to 5 zlotys, minted in 2022.
The denominations: 1, 2 and 5 pennies are made of manganese brass (MM59), 10, 20 and 50 pennies, and 1 zloty are made of cupro-nickel (MN25), while 2 and 5 zloty coins are composed of cupro-nickel (the core of the 2 zloty coin and the ring of the 5 zloty coin) and bronze (the core of the 5 zloty coin and the ring of the 2 zloty coin).
The edges of the listed coins vary depending on the denomination. Coins with denominations of 1 penny, 20 pennies and 50 pennies have serrated edges; 2 pennies and 2 zlotys have smooth edges. The denominations of 5 pennies, 10 pennies, 1 zloty have edges that are alternately smooth and serrated. The 5 zloty coin is characterized by an irregularly milled rim.
The currencies in the set have denominations - 5 zloty, 1 zloty, 50 groszy, 20 groszy, 10 groszy, 5 groszy, 2 groszy and 1 groszy. In order of highest face value, products have weight and diameter - 6.54g and 24mm, 5.21g and 21.5mm, 5g and 23mm, 3.94g and 20.5mm, 3.22g and 18.5mm, 2.51g and 16.5mm, 2.59g and 19.50mm, 2.13g and 17.5mm, 1.64g and 15.5mm.
On the obverse in a semicircle is the inscription "RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA". At the bottom of the image of the eagle established for the emblem of the Republic of Poland, there is the date of issue of the value.
Reverse shows the face value of the coin, the name of the monetary unit and the leaf ornament.
