The 50-grosz coin is a Polish circulation coin issued by the National Bank of Poland. The coin is made of cupronickel (MN25), with a total weight of 3.94 g and a diameter of 20.5 mm. The edge of the coin is reeded.
Specimens from 2024 are delivered in a mint-sealed bag of 100 pieces, produced by the Polish Mint.
On the obverse, the inscription "RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA" is arranged in a semicircle. Below the image of the eagle, established as the emblem of the Republic of Poland, the issue date of the coin is inscribed.
The reverse displays the face value of the coin, the name of the currency unit, and an ornamental leaf design.
Coins are sold in mint-sealed bags (without a capsule) in sets of 100 pieces.
